SEEING THE HUMAN SOUL THROUGH MY CAMERA LENS

The Boat arrived at the jetty from another end of
Lagos-Nigeria bearing these persons willing to visit the Badagry
beach, they went ahead of us as we were busy
shooting (taking pictures of) every ant and fly
that passes. lol…
When we got to the beach, i noticed that these
two were not ecstatic as other holiday makers. I
wouldn’t know if they are lovers, friends or
siblings but i noticed they were just in the world
of their own, oblivious of the noise and poking
cameras at the shore. It looked like they were
there to pour out their soul worries and pain. To
drown them in the sea…
As the golden sun sets, my camera caught them
getting up to go.
Then, i got distracted by my comrades and lost
the chance to walk with them back to the boat or
ask them why they were so calm…
