“OKAFOR’S LAW” – The Movie Review by Kayode Gideon Balogun

I was torn between watching Kunle Afolayan’s OMUGWO and Omoni Oboli’s OKAFOR’S LAW but opted for the latter because i want to watch Omugwo with my bae before the easter holiday ends. Bikonu, my bae is not 5kbae, my own is priceless bae. *grin*
Okafor’s law: This statement applies to guys mostly and it states that,
“If you have been involved in a relationship with a girl for over a period of time and you did a great job, in and out of the bedroom(mostly in), the belief is that you can always go to the girl at any given time and sleep with the girl no matter what situation arises (break ups, different lovers etc)”
Okafor’s Law is a Nigerian romantic tragi-comedy drama film written, directed and produced by Omoni Oboli . The film stars Blossom Chukwujekwu , Omoni Oboli , Toyin Aimakhu , Gabriel Afolayan , Ufuoma McDermott , Richard Mofe Damijo , Tina Mba, Kemi Lala Akindoju and Ken Erics.
I got to know well about Omoni Oboli’s acting prowess from the movie ‘Fifty’. The sound and  picture quality is great. The casting is impressive. I give Okafor’s Law a 18+ rating.
The Three CHUKS; Chuks the Terminator (Blossom Chukwujekwu) , Chuks the Fox (Ken Erics) and Chucks the Baptist (Gabriel Afolayan) took a bet over Ejiro (Omoni Oboli), Ify (Ufuoma McDermott) and Tomi (Toyin Aimakhu) to proof the Okafor’s Law but Chuks the Terminator found love in the process.
It is a movie with a so much serious message yet laced with shots of comedy. I strongly recommend the movie to ladies from age 21.
Unlike the wishy-washy nollywood productions, this movie stakes high in suspence, intrigue and trepidating the viewers.
I must mention that I am really thrilled about the ending which is so intriguing, facinating and ingeneous.
Kudos to Omoni Oboli.
